Born in New York and raised in the South, I returned to the city in the late ’90s after studying Graphic Design at East Carolina University School of Art. I quickly began working in entertainment design, creating DVD and VHS packaging for major studios including Universal, Paramount, and Columbia Pictures—while always intending to return to my first love: photography.

That shift came after I was commissioned to photograph Roberto Cavalli for the Italian magazine Panorama, marking the start of my career as a professional photographer. I spent the early years assisting established fashion photographers in New York City, building both experience and perspective before stepping out on my own.

After two decades in New York, I returned South in 2019 to be closer to family. I am now based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
